Mansion House speech

ACCESS notes the Chancellor of the Exchequer’s Mansion House speech last night and in particular the references to the LGPS aspects of the Government’s recent Pension Review.

Having recently reached the £50bn AUM milestone, we will examine the details behind the Chancellor’s announcements, and anticipate further dialogue with Government as part of the upcoming consultation process.

The eleven participating Authorities remain focussed on their responsibilities to the 1.2million LGPS members and 3,500 LGPS employers within the ACCESS region.
